Oh, the restraint! I waited until today, April 2nd, to start my tomato seeds. I read online recently that, according to biodynamic/moon phase gardening principles, today would be a good day to start vegetables like tomatoes. I planted 9 kinds: Emerald Evergreen, Opalka Paste, Paul Robeson (named after a famous opera singer!), Pink Bumblebee, Black Cherry, Sweet Red Cherry, Green Doctors Frosted (a cherry type), Costoluto Genovese, and Eva Purple Ball.
My Christmas cactus and violet are enjoying the longer days.
