Weekend Harvest
Green and red cabbages (so pretty!), and some Hungarian yellow peppers picked this morning.
A few more beets...
Yesterday, I picked the first batch of Beurre de Rocquencourt yellow wax beans. We ended up with about 5 lbs. Chopped, blanched, and into the freezer they went.
Three yellow cherry tomatoes were ripe this morning. They are so sweet! There are dozens of flowers on each plant, so my fingers are crossed for a bumper crop.
Two more nasturtiums had to come out this morning, as some of the strawberries were rotting underneath them. :( Who knew flourishing flowers could be such a hindrance?
